Holy Hell, $ Kubota Filters $ !!

We're obviously talking about a different kind of filter. I remove my filter, (the inside stays perfectly clean to the naked eye), and put it in a pan of hot soapy water and clean it with a brush til it won't clean anymore. The filter element is some type of indestructable fabric. I think it costs about $40, never had to buy one.

I've wished for a K&N filter to fit my tractors as they filter very well and clean very easy. Something that Christa needed to mention as far as filters go is to be particularly careful when changing the fuel filter. Clean the area all around the filter before pulling it apart. The injector nozzles are so tiny that the smallest of particles can either clog them or ruin the spray atomization. As she mentioned, a dirty filter actually cleans better then a clean one, but at some point, the restriction gets to great.
