Hello All,

A few more welds, mount the gearbox and blades, paint, and I'm done:D

Nice work. That thing is built like a tank. To buy one that heavy you would spend $1500 or more if you could even find something like that.

What do you have in it and what are you going to use for a gear box and blades?

Wow that is great looking! I love the built-in floating hitch you incorporated-it should work very well.

Outstanding work!

Is it 5 or 6 feet wide?

Can't wait to see the final product and first test run.

Great looking cutter, it's built like a battleship, so I think you should name it U.S.S. Missouri.

I am thinking of building one because A. the only bush hogs you can get here are flimsy Italian stuff for lawn tractors, B. I have spent my money in a workshop full of tools, which needs to pay for itself and C. I tend to break cheap stuff.

I think i'm going to use your idea of the heavy C channel along the outer perimeter, it puts the beef where it matters, and torching/welding the top plate can happen in my own time, brake pressing a unibody mower deck has to be payd for.

...I just need time.... ;)

Looks great, will you make action pictures/videos ??
