Home Depot Construction

While the construction of a Home Depot in our little town has nothing to do with me, I find it interesting given the amount of equipment they are using to get the job done. At one time, I believe they had 11 of the excavators operating along with assorted bulldozers (up to a D-9) and several large dump trucks. I've taken a few pictures that you can see here.

Kinda the same story here..for in our city they are digging for new Home Depot as well,and they have more heavy equipment setting idle w/no operators..geeze I hope Home Depot not being being bill hourly. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

They're building a Lowes in our town and recently had a helicopter there lifting "stuff" (I suspect Air conditioning units) onto the roof.

It was interesting watching these guys as I drove by--they'd be there working from 7AM til almost dark. In some cases, the welders were working AFTER dark............

Williams Brothers keep more machinery down thru highway 90 in houston texas without it being run, it makes me wonder how they can make money

Yeah, they're building a home depot in my area too. The contractors are so stubborn and DUMB sometimes. They'll call us demanding a machine ASAP and we had been open maybe 30 minutes! They pull that on us all the time, then we go to pick up the machine and we can't get it because it's not accessible. Jeez /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
