Been buying Sears appliances, tools, lawn care stuff, etc since 1967, and repair parts for many of them for nearly as long. Prior to the online parts ordering I would have to drive to their service center fifteen miles away, take a number, then wait in line and HOPE they had whatever I needed....and if they didn't have it I either had to make a second trip or pay for shipping it to my house.
I feel it's a bargain to pay the shipping charges and not burn two gallons of gas getting there and back, figure it's a fair trade off.
