All we use in our tractors are home heating fuel. It is dyed pink. The Frenh govt would rather w not do that, but we do't ever drive the tractors on the roads.

SkyPup,

I know you are being sarcastically funny but for those who don't know it, it will be a federal crime to add sulphur additives to your ULSD diesel fuel. How they are going to police it is another matter.

I can just see the "Sulphur Cops" out there now at the local truck stop with their little dipsticks acting like dipsticks. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, one thing is for certain, the price of pharmeceutical grade elemental sulfur is going way way down when ULSD comes online this summer! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Currently you can purchase pure 100% sulfur for only $25 per ton.

Better stock up now because everyone everywhere that has a diesel will be stockpiling as much of it as they can...... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Do you think sulfur cops will "sniff" out the crime of sulfur addition?

Bob,

Since the "Sulfur Cops" are agents of the United States Treasury and the consequences are financially significant, I would say YES .

I learned a very long time ago that the last thing you want to get involved with is the IRS , especially when you are always going to come out on the short end of the stick! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
