Wow, that's the hard way to interlock a path! Looks great though, good for you.

Holy smokes that's a great idea! I've been thinking about some way to mix potting soil easily...I think I just found it!

Just out of high school (early 70s) the commercial florist I worked for had the mixer barrel off an old concrete truck in the potting shed. We used a FEL to load it up and it had been converted to run off a electric motor (don't know what size motor it was). We had mix recipes for making various potting soil posted on the wall and you put so many buckets of peat and other ingredients in the barrel then churned it up for a couple minutes. We made about 3 to 4 CY of potting soil at a time in a batch. Worked great.

We made up hanging baskets by the hundreds along with dish gardens, and all kinds of other plant and flowers. This place had 14 acres under glass (old style glass houses, not plastic) and a 250 acre 'farm' where all the field grown product was raised which was mostly azaleas plus some more houses for hanging baskets.

Pooh Bear,
Looks good and looks like an updated version of the one my Dad had when I was a kid. His used a wooden barrel mounted on the pinion shaft of an old car rear end. It was driven by a small electric motor with a belt around a spoked car rim. I do remember it was quite a chore to dump it in the wheelbarrow.
