Todays progress picture shows the fender mounted storage boxes now completed and painted. Also the hitch and steering dash. The box on the right side of the picture shows the new nose piece to replace the narrow front assembly. Today I will paint the yellow parts . This weekend I will do the first test drive .
Tomorrow I should test drive the doodlebug and my wife will take a video and share it with everyone. This contraption is not my proudest project, but you could say it is unique :cool2:
Todays photo shows the decals on the sulky and the diamond plate floor installed. It should look very cute hooked behind my 1/2 scale diesel 4020 with my 3 year old grandson riding behind me.
You can also see the hood on the workbench after I painted the yellow stripes. Next I will put a black border around the yellow.
IT IS FINISHED !!!
I have to touch up a few spots with paint but overall I am pleased with this contraption :dance1:
Considering I started with a broken down walk behind snowblower and only planned on putting a blade on front it doesn't look too bad.
I will test drive it this afternoon and share the video .
Not sure on the hours, just theropy to help me get through winter:laughing:
My wife posted the test drive video on you tube this afternoon . Anyone who might want to see it can go to my webpage at 301 Moved Permanently

The little machine worked quite well as the video shows and it turns very sharp with the articulating steering
