Yep, also a lot to be said for a fur covered cruise missle(dog) flying across the yard. Unfortunatly, if the dog is agressive, the same liabilities apply as shooting at them, with the added trauma to the criminal of an animal attack...

We have a highly skilled mouse catching cat called nicknamed Killer

He is feral and spends all day outside but he always has feed available outside the tackroom.

His bowl is labelled Killer

Plus...no matter how well intentioned...you could lose the dog (Animal Control confiscation). The dog will do anything to protect his master...and I'll not lose my friend for doing his job!
