Homemade rotary broom on Kubota BX

Thanks. Yeah it works pretty good in the few tests done so far. Not too hard to make with just basic tools. Got most of the materials from Princess Auto at good prices. For example the brushes (push broom replacements) cost about $9 each, the small wheels about $7 each and I think the two larger wheels were about $15 each.

Wow. Sure is nice to see it on the video but I got bragging rights. I got to see it in person last week :cool2:
That thing is just Super Cool. There are times I could even use one of them. Now you need another BX to act as a dust pan :laughing:.
Really enjoyed seeing this my friend. It sure works nice!

Watching the video, I couldn't help but wonder if you reversed the broom's rotation, you might rig a way for the crap to be swept into the bucket? Then, a third function hydraulic lift so the broom would swing up, allowing you to then dump the bucket. Just wonderin'.

Here's the build video on the rotary broom. Video includes how to make the GoPro camera mount and also shows a simple DIY tool that helps tighten-up large cable ties. The camera mount also is useful for still and video selfies.
