I would recommend u replace the curl cylinder with a solid pipe to cause it looks like it's causing havoc on the cylinder

It amazes me having a backhoe you would still resort to this. It makes a mess, a crappy trench, and puts a tremendous strain on the front end loader in a manner it's not really designed for. If you want to do that, put the angle on a 3-point mount facing forward, at a steeper angle.

I agree with ishiboo, FEL is not designed for the strain in that direction. I think I would make a ripper that pins in place of the backhoe bucket. Or get a 3pt tool bar and attach a 36" ripper shank. I definitely would have a bad day if my FEL broke.

Like I mentioned earlier I don't use the trencher everyday and perhaps the videos make the action look more dramatic than it actually is. But if something bad does happen due to this use I will be fast to post it here on TBN - I do like destructive testing of different kinds, but that is definitely not my goal here.
