Tractor
in between now
A close friend of mine is returning to Delaware from a drive to Washington State, quite a drive, and he saw this tractor.
Knowing my activities here, he wondered if anyone recognized what this tractor was/is.
My friend grew up in Iowa, so this was fun for him.

Can anyone identify this tractor?

It resembles a Twin City model KT. Twin City eventually became Minneapolis-Moline. Here is a link to the Twin City site. Twin City Tractors Scroll down to the bottom, and click on the KT in the menu. The last ones were made in 1938,so she don't look too bad, except missing a few parts, for being at least 78 years old.

It resembles a Twin City model KT.

If you use the "close up" option, you can see the Twin City name and logo above the opening for the radiator in the first photo.

You can see the twin city name on the upper grill....

Cool old iron... thanks for sharing.

I'm leaning more towards an early model "Hoyt-Clagwell". Colour scheme has really faded though.

Very rare if so... (but it's probably a Twin Cities :)).

wow, 10.5 liters, pretty understressed for output, no wonder these things ran forever.
and it weighed four tons, another wow. That would provide some power to the ground.

I agree this does not look like an 8000 pound tractor but I know nothing here
my friend also sent pics of what he called tractor art in Iowa

doesn't look like it has a radiator, maybe just missing but I'm assuming most old tractors had one. Fan is there.
