Homier Came to town

Stopped by a Homier tool show in town today and think I found a couple of good deals. I bought a self darkening welding hood for $29.95. Struck a few arcs with the mig welder to test it out and seemed to work well. Also bought a 120V chainsaw sharpener for the same price. $29.95. Didn't try that out but if it gets 10 chains sharp I'll get my money back. Most of the tools looked quite cheaply made and look like they won't hold up with much use. I think the price was right on these two purchases...

Yep, John, they used to come to our little town and my brother and I bought several things there; got a couple of bargains and also got some things that broke the first time they were used. It's caveat emptor with them, but if you're careful and lucky, you can get some good deals.

Went to the one in Hamburg. Had a lot of stuff there. A finish mower, box scraper and a bucket scoop. Didn't really check out the prices on those. Took my 20 minute tour, bought a couple of things and onward I trudged...Something to do on my day off..

Sounds like the same thing we have here with a tool company called Cummins. Some good stuff for the $$$ mixed in with some questionable stuff. The truck goes around to every little town in the area and has shows in places like the VFW's and hotel banquet rooms. I think they are out of Nebraska.
