Tired of Wrastl'lin the attachments onto the botom links I'm always looking for an easier way to appease my fragile back. I see that Quick Hitch Homier sells. Was curious if anyone had one/what they thought of it/does it REALLY make it easier getting the implements on??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Bill, I seen the one at TSC up close and looks pretty well made. Price was not bad either. I'm thinking about a quick hitch too! Not only saves back but smashed (ouch) fingers too!!!!!!!!!!

I HAD one it was OK built, but did not work on most of my stuff, YOU have to have STANDARD equipment, or you are wasting you're time & money... Measure ALL of you're most used items first, (mower, box blade ect.) the lift pins all have to be ~26" to work... mine are all different enough that it would only work for one at a time with out modifying the 3pt impliments... and also it would not work with some of my PTO shaft lenghts as it puts stuff a little farther back.

Mark is right and it doesn't matter which one you have, whether it Homier's or Deere's I-Match. I had considered getting the I-Match when I got my new Deere. Glad I didn't, most of my equipment wouldn't have fit it and I would of had to modify it. One option you may want to consider is Pat's Easy Change system. It slips on each lift arm and the width of the pins doesn't matter. As you attach and detach equipment you will get more proficient. I back up to the piece of equipment and drop the lift arms on top of the lift pins, then get off the tractor and put the arms on the pins. I am lucky in that the sway adjustments on my 3 point aren't turn buckles, they are telescoping links.

Don't you mean top link pins Mark? My Homier QH can latch on to lower lift pins that are only a few inches off the ground.

26 inches is the spread between the lower lift pins, not the height of the pins.

Thanks Brent, that makes more sense. And it's one of the reasons I'm going to sell my QH. In all of 30 acres, I don't have one flat place convenient for parking the idle TPH implements. I have to back up to everything on a slope; left side of the tractor always higher than the right. Trying to latch on with the narrow QH is sometimes more time consuming than doing it the old fashioned way. Especially when I next have to remember which of half a dozen (some floating) toplink configurations that I used on that particular implement last time.

Did your Homier Quick hitch come with adapter bushings for the lower implement pins or do you have to buy them seperately? When I got mine all I ended up with was the hitch, two small bushings (these will fit onto the top link pin but not the lower), and a top swivel link. Does this sound right or am I missing some parts? Mine was a unit that they opened up so people could look at it and they already had the boxed units loaded into the truck to go to the next show.

No adapter bushings were included with mine, but I didn't expect any. Just ran down to the local NAPA store and picked up a pair for 69 cents each. Any farm supply store or implement dealer should have them as well

Assuming that you're going to use this QH with a variety of implements, you'll also need a set of floating toplnk adapter pieces. What I didn't get from LandPride, I rigged up myself.
