Homier came to my town early in July. Those Chinese units looked well built. They went fast. My suggestion is to go early because I lost out on the $99.00 back blade that is also advertized.Terry

Ditto. I made our last show and after being open for only a few hours, the back blades were gone as well as the mowers. I was gonna pick up one of each for the second tractor for ligt work... can't wait till the next one.

If anyone does have pics.. i hope they post them.. I would love to see some.

I recently got a flyer, too. I ignored it, because I figured at those prices the stuff HAD to be junk. Has anyone used any of this stuff? What about hand tools, and other stuff? They had such cheap prices, I figured that it all must have been made of tissue paper.

What size are these mowers, blades, etc.?

I imagine they had to be 4' attatchments... besides.. the tractors they bring are usually the 20 and 25 hp ones... most 5' cutters specify 25 pto hp.. so that knocks the small tractors down to the 4' range.

Well, I posted a couple of weeks ago about my $99 homier blade. I got it knowing it was chineese and that it was not heavy duty. What I didnt figure was it was total JUNK!!!!
The welds were so bad I couldnt assemble the unit. Homier was very nice and due to the weight, shipping it back is just not worth it so they agreed to refund $75 and I get to keep the carcus. I think I will be able to get some thing to work out of it.

BTY its listed as a CAT 0/CAT 1 blade. While the pins are cat0 the width of the mount is cat 1. It will not fit my Yanmar 3pt.
While I was not happy with the product the overall experience was good with dealing with homier. I did pickup several items from there sale and have been happy with it. As with Homier, norther and harbor freight your usually buying low end unskilled labor assembled items. Low cost and some times low quality. If your carefull you can get some good usable deals. Sometimes you get junk.

I looked at the finish and bush hog. They look of similar quality and for the price assuming you can assemble them and dont do much more than grass cutting it might, maybe might be worth it.

The tractors they are selling are good units. though the dealer assembly & prep that homier has done may not be up to par. they are "JINMA" tractors and are extremely rugged. I pulled stumps with my 28 hp unit this past weekend. Had the front wheels off the ground about 1' several times, so I filled the bucket with dirt & clay mix, front wheels still came off ground but a 14" dia stump was torn out too! 3/8' chain over my box blade to lift slightly and pull from. these were mostly dead elm stumps over 1 yr of setting. ground removed was about 4' across and 10"+ deep at the center. root ball about 4' across. I did pull a "GREEN" stump about 14" high and 4' dia with out a problem. snapped lots of roots and lifted out about 14' deep and 3' across.

/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif all that and my total cost was WAY low compaired to other brands.

I bought a 5 foot box blade at their last sale at the Eastwood Mall. It was only $249, and I'm very happy with it. I would have brought a tractor home too, if my wife was working! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You have to go into the Homier Sales knowing that everything they sell is Chinese, very cheap, and of varying quality. You can get some really good deals at their sales, but there are exceptions too. Some of the things I see is just plain junk and I look at it and just keep on going. Some of the things they have are really good deals, but you have to look through all of the ones they have and pick the best one. If it's something that you're not going to be using all of the time, this might be the place to buy it...

When I bought my box blade, I showed them exactly which one I wanted. I looked for the best welds, least rust, and checked to make sure all of the nuts and bolts were in the parts bag. If you look at everything there in this way, you can walk out of there with some good finds... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
