has anyone bought anything from this company?
they have a 4 day sale in longview, texas and they have some decent pricing on small general purpose air compressors /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif...also 5' box blade----$250 /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif, quick hitch----------$90 /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
i'll go look at some of the other stuff too. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes, I've bought a few things from them when they've had their annual sales in Corsicana. And like the other Gary said, it's cheap, buyer beware, etc., but for some things; good deals. Just be careful, know what you're buying, and in the case of power equipment, don't pay more than you can afford to lose.

WAS JUST ABOUT TO POST THE SAME QUESTION. they are having a show at the hamburg ny fairgrounds this weekend, for the prices they advertize i am sure it is not top quality stuff but for some things they might be ok.they have some tractor equipt that i might be interested in, stuff i would not buy because i don't have enough use for it to justify the cost, but i was wondering, if it is somethin u are not going to work to death, might it not be ok? or is their stuff really junk?

There are several things that I buy there, but nothing that I use a lot. If I used it more often, I would spend more money and buy a better quality somewhere else. I'm going to the one out this way this weekend also.

I did buy the $250 box blade last year, and it has been adequate for my needs.

I also buy 19 cent screwdrivers and 99 cent hammers for the junk drawer, so I don't have to walk to to the garage to get the "good" tools for a quickie project!

I'm still tempted to buy one of these from them some time for $249--
1 Ton 4-Wheel Wagon with Dump Kit

The only ones I've seen so far are still unassembled in the box, so I haven't checked the quality of it up close.

Everything I bought there broke the first time I used it
there 1x15 ratchet straps for .99cents are a real bargin.
The only thing Homier is good for is filling up the landfill

i thought that might be the case , but if the wather is ok i might take a ride and look around . only about 10 miles

There is one thing that they do have that is good. They usually have several Dewalt factory rebuilt products. I have had real good luck with them. I contacted Dewalt about the items before I bought the first one, Dewalt said that if I had any problem to contact them not Homier. That sounded good, so I have been buying rebuilt from them at half price for about 3-4 years now.

If you watch Homier closely you will see some of the exact same items that Harbor Freight carries at a substantial savings. I picked up a creeper to slide under my tractor to change the oil and saved $10.00 under Harbor Freights already low price. Some of the other stuff Homier carries however is pure junk.

And not just DeWalt. I bought a factory rebuilt Campbell-Hausfeld 18 gauge pneumatic brad gun from Homier; used it a lot and it was still in like new condition when I sold it.

The 6" bench grinder I bought from them I think lasted 2 days.
The 4" vise I bought served me well for several years, never a problem, but my brother bought one just like it and it busted about the second time he used it.
I threw the snap ring pliers I got from them in the trash; worthless.
