If certain places are going to be so strict on their requirements... Why not just make their own products and sell them "in house" in that area? I could rant more, but I'll leave it at that. But it either ensure their mandates are followed, instead of relying on the manufacturer that produces for worldwide...

Glad I already have a Honda mower. I don't really have a lawn, but there are some weed/grass patches near the house that I cannot get with my flail.
If I had a company like that I would just label them all "not for sale or use in California". Why must we all suffer for their delusions?

California bends the market to conform.
Many adopt California standards and as time has shown it’s only a matter of time…
Go back 50 years when unleaded gas was only in California as same sex unions only in California, etc.

Drives me crazy that some states were able to pass laws that basically abdicate their own legislative power to simply match Cali's laws in some areas.
If I were governor of a state like FL or TX, I would send a note to Honda and negotiate special edition units for the southern market. They make them in NC.
