Honor your Local Township Snowplow operator

I been watching my township snowplow operator - Actually I think there may be 3 different operators. I got them to move some snow with I got stuck earlier. (earlier post) We have not gotten any heavy snow since February 16th. Got 2-3 inches the other day. Schools delayed 2 hours. Today March 3rd he runs by my house (Blacktop is Dry) pushes some snow in front of my driveway - about size of a basketball. - (I say o well I just push out the way by hand) - He comes back and cleans out in front of my drive plus he moves some hills of snow back off the road. - So I have to honor my Snowman pusher . I still say he has time on his hands or likes to play with his C ompact U tility T ruck, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I mean International truck. - My brother runs a plow in Ohio for the township - Truck was new last year. Loves it - It has an automatic tranny - He says it allows to him to monitor other stuff - Doesn't have worry about shifting gears and etc..

Sounds like a consciencous guy!!! I'll trade you! Our local snowplow guy in our county took out all our mailboxes two or three runs ago. How you would hear or see the "thump....thump...thump....." as you go down the road is beyond me!!!

I have been plowing privately for about 20 years and luckily I have never had any accidents. I would not want to plow the roads. These guys may be faced with hitting a mailbox or hitting the oncoming car that chooses to pass too close to the 10' blade you are controlling. We do the best we can and if I had my way I would park once traffic picks up. Nothing worse than trying to plow a lot and having someone trying to "sneak" in behind you. They guys in dump trucks with limited visibility???? My hat is off to ya!
