I have a BX24 with the plastic body parts. The headlights have both broken out of the plastic hood mounts. Some of the grillwork on the bonnet is loose since the fasteners are broken. No major breaks yet but a lot of little annoying ones. I have been thinking about a retrofit with metal parts off a different model. Yesterday I was browsing facebook marketplace and found a new hood and bonnet for a BX2370 for sale around half price. I have checked the part numbers and they are different from the BX24. The pictures however look very similar if not identical. They look close enough to try and fit them on the 24. Minor mods to fasteners, latches, hinges I can probably handle. The only issue is the 2370 hood is metal but the bonnet is plastic. I would like to upgrade both components to metal. My question is are there other models that have both metal hood and bonnet? Does the BX25?
