I envy you being able to use the hoop, you must not get much snow. I could use that here in the mountains if I pulled the plastic off in late fall. Looks good have a great growing season.

yeah, not much snow here, they are round and it might fall off enough but if you get a lot of snow might not be to good???

check out the snow picts on this link, go to gallery ,,not much but if you build a wall type structure down the middle for support it might work for heavy snow??

A weird wet snow even collapsed a commercial hoop house here in mid Missouri a couple years ago.

I have been thinking of adding a lean-to greenhouse on the south side of a brick shed. I think I can modify the plans you point to to do that with the hoops. There must be some kind of sleeve bracket I could buy with screw tabs to attach to a board on the existing wall. Even if I can't find such a bracket, I could always use a hole saw to make holes in the board to hold the ends of the half hoops.

I just ordered the lost creek C-12 Will see how that works and if it goes well maybe order the others as well.

Can never have enough tools :)

Plus we need to support each other when there is something available American made at a competitive price we should be using it.

Thanks much for the link, will post a link if I get my act together and build one. :)

yeash, I thought that was kind of crappy after I read it again, (just copy his bender) but then I can't begin to tell you how many ideas I have stole to save a buck:ashamed: sometimes someone makes something you need before for you get the chance to make it, and if thier idea's a good one,why try and make it different? It's not like I was selling them.:)

All joking aside they make a good tool at a reasonable price you wont be disapointed and you can call them anytime, great customer service, and 100% American ............

If you weld, you could weld a piece of tight fittin larger or smaller Dia. pipe to a piece of 1/8" or 1/4" plate and hilti it to the brick,or however you fasten stuff to brick? and then bolt through the pipe to hold the hoop, use a piece of straight pipe into the ground, that way you could make it as tall as you want, but you might want to look into maybe his 20 foot hoop bender, depending on how wide you want your greenhouse,I guess a half of a 12 foot hoophouse pipe would give you 6 foot out from the wall, but if you wanted it wider you would have to go with the twenty,,which says it will make a 16 or 20 foot hoophouse. So thats either an 8 or 10 foot width???

You could also come out from the wall at a slight downward angle, straight not curving a bit, then put the curve in then straight towards the ground.

Not sure if that description works, but maybe another way to say it is to look at some of the greenhouses, and they have straight legs, maybe 3 or 4 foot, then the arch, nothing says you could not have the straight leg up, then roll say 70 degrees then proceed on up to your intersect point with straight pipe again.
