LB, that kinda came out funny. Almost sounds like you were saying you had a great Christmas until that anniversary came along.

I'm sure that's not what you meant and I'm glad you had a merry Christmas. And congratulations on the wedding anniversary. Its great to see folks with many married years under their belt (I'm at 20). And here's wishing you many more.

44 years, not too bad, my Mom and Pop are up to 62 years, and I believe it will be 63 on April 3rd 2009 ! I dont think I will beat their record !

BTW I guess that makes me a baby boomer !

We had a great anniversary.
Yesterday evening.
a lady and her 2 daughters from Cincinnati,Oh were up here visiting a relative of theirs .
We got invited to the relatives home for supper last evening.
My wife has known this lady(the one from Cincinnati) all of her life as they grew up in the same neighborhood,
And she was one of my wife's bridesmaids at our wedding and here she is at this get together exactly 44 years later.
She hadn't realized yesterday was our anniversary and was pleasantly surprised when my wife mentioned it was our anniversary.

Well, we've got 4 months and one day until our 44th wedding anniversary, but New Year's Eve is my wife's birthday, so yep, we have a busy week, too.

LB, I have to ask. Whatever made you decide to get married so close to Christmas? We saw a couple on the news who were stranded in an airport and almost missed thier Christmas Day wedding. This just seems like the worst possible time to be getting married, but heck, what do I know.
