Got to spend Christmas with two of our three children (youngest one is in Iraq) and all six of our grandkids. How great is that!

LB, I have to ask. Whatever made you decide to get married so close to Christmas? We saw a couple on the news who were stranded in an airport and almost missed thier Christmas Day wedding. This just seems like the worst possible time to be getting married, but heck, what do I know.

Guess it just sounded good to us at the time.
It's worked out great as it's kinda nice to have an extra day of sharing and celebrating at this time of year.

On our first Anniversary\Christmas I played a little joke on her.
Got her a pair of snow boots.
Put one of them in a box and wrapped it up and gave it to her for Christmas.
When she asked where the other one was I told her they didn't have both boots and were ording the other one in for me to pick up next week.
The next day I gave her her Anniversary gift.
Guess what was in it when she opened the package.

Congratulations to all!!! It is neat to see there are still people out there who still marry for keeps. My parents just celebrated their 41st on the 27th. I am a newbie, just celebrated five years on Dec. 6th and had daughter #2 on Dec. 13th. Funny how I used to tell the parents they were so old when they married (27) and had me (32). I told them I would marry in my early 20's and have all my children by the time I was 30. Well, I did not meet Mrs. Right until I was three months away from turning 30. Married when I was 31, had first daughter when I was 33, almost 34 and am now 36. Think we are done now with children. Wanted a boy, but am very thankful we have two healthy, beautiful girls.

My sister in law [ wifes sister ] just celebrated her 41st on the 25th.of Nov.
Nov. 25 is also her birthday.
Tell your folks I said congrats on their 41st.
