The "horn" on my 3510 isn't much of one. It works fine, but isn't very loud, and certainly doesn't do a diesel justice.
Sounds like one of those foreign car "neep-neeps" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Problem is when you are running it and someone else is running another tractor. They can't hear you.
We use a lot of hand signals and such when working together, but if their back is to you, you have to get their attention.
I went to Advance Auto yesterday and bought a replacement horn. 2X loud, "Big Rig" sound. About $15.
The single horn mounting screw wouldn't quite fit in the old horn's hole, so I used the mounting strap that came with the new horn and attached it to one of the old horn's mounting bracket screws.
It's two wire, just like the old one- truly plug and play. This is one that ANYBODY can do, regardless of mechanical/electrical experience. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Did have to bend the mounting strap so the horn moved closer to the radiator because of the "pipe" that pretends to be a hood latching mechanism....
Man, that hood latch is a poorly designed component...takes 4 or 5 times to get it to latch. It's probably a good candidate for the next "upgrade."
