Horrible sound coming from steering 2012 F-150

What is different? It was my understanding they were the same. I know the 6.2 liter varieties had old hydraulic systems.

I thought the 5.0 was still hydro when I ordered my 2012 back in August 2011?

They changed everything except the 6.2 liter to electric in 2011. Pretty certain.

All's I know is that mine went out at 65000 miles on a bone stock truck. Repair at the dealer was $1800.

In would be major pi$$ed with that mileage.Had to replace a manifold on my 2006 ford f150 with the 5.4 motor 85,000 miles cost was $550.I thought that was a lot of cash.
