-old thread- but cedar shavings for horses in a closed stall is not so good- toxic fumes. Use pine or spruce shavings. No walnut shaving either!

Been in the northwest for over 30 years and all that time I've used cedar shavings with no problems! :thumbsup: Most every body does cause fir is so expencive. You might find a horse that is allergic to them but thats seldom. My:2cents: to an old thread!
