My son has a report to do and I have been searching for websites with some good info on common horse breeds in the US. Found tons of sights, a few with good info/pics. Thought I would run it by the TBN brain trusts. /w3tcompact/icons/clever.gif
Any good bookmarks in your browsers? /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

- Glad I am out of school. They sure do give a lot of projects and reports now! /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif

cedar,
Essentially this is done every year in the Western Horseman annual breed issue. They talk about what each breed is, where it's been, and where it's going. You can visit the website at www.westernhorseman.com. Their telephone # is there. Call them and they will send you the issue you want. Tell them you want the all breed issue from 2001.

My youngest does it all on his own. But my oldest 13 will not do the report at all. I (and my wife) have to help him every step of the way. Turn the tv/etc off and make him write every word. He has failed one grade and this year is not looking much better.
And since I know someone will make suggestions, he has been tested for EVERYTHING and seen by countless experts in several fields. He has been on many different meds and stayed at two different centers for the FULL term allowed with no change. They have all come to the conclusion that this is his choice and he will have to grow out of it.
Once I have located the correct sites, I will set him at my pc and walk him thru every step.

Thanks cowboydoc, I am not sure it would arrive before the report is due but I think I will get it anyway for interesting reading! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Thanks a bunch Mike. I had found the Appaloosa.com but not the others. It is amazing at the junk site you pic up on searches. Take a lot of time sifting thru! You guys are a lot of help - thanks to ALL!

You're very welcome! My problem wasn't finding the sites, it was remembering the breeds. /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

My comment was to be humorous more than anything. I know nothing about learning disabilities except my own opinion which won't make me much money. I do think that drugs cause as much problems as they are to correct. Good luck
