$25k cap for paying cash.

I opted to finance this time on the RX because the cost to finance was reasonable.

I financed my first Kioti (DK50se HST) because for a 6 year term the rate was reasonably low (2.4%) and at the time I needed the cash to pay for a underground storage tank remediation job on a house I owned back east (don't ask what that cost - you don't want to know, and I'd rather forget).

The cost for the tractor was the same at the time, cash or financed. I paid the tractor off 3 years early.
25K cap financed :) Don't have 25k in cash but can put money down.
Kioti and Kubota are the exact same price. Bobcat was 4k cheaper but the guy on the phone said he didn't know if that was a cash price and financing would be more.

Ah, I misunderstood. My bad!

In any case, good luck on your search! I've been very happy with my Kioti tractors, and found they included many more features that the others priced as options.

For example, when I priced out Kubota by adding on the "options" that Kioti included as standard, the Kubota was $14,000 more. John Deere was even more $ than the Kubota. That was a long time time ago however, so things may likely have changed as things have gotten more competitive.

What model Kubota and what model Kioti (2610HST)?

Both very good brands. This would come down to respective features and test drives. As I’ve mentioned previously I find the loader control valve on my white kioti to be touchy. But I really like the 3 range transmission. Only way to know is to try both out.

Wut? So many people in the past few years claiming Kubota was thousands of $$ more than tractors brands like Kioti.

The way l’m seeing it, you option for either the free loader or reduced financing.
What strikes me as incomprehensible (if the guy on the phone was a Bob Cat dealer), was that he didn’t know his own product vernacular?
If it is the 0% gimmick, then financing is always more as interest is built into the sales price.
The next step would be to drill down on the difference that includes reduced financing as opposed to 0%.

That was my surprise. There is basically no different in price between Kioti, Kubota, and Bobcat. Financed price is almost exactly the same no matter what color. Or at least there isn't where I am located. I've had several responses from people getting the Bobcat tractor for 19k financed with a box blade added on but not my state. The Bobcat dealer I spoke with isn't even open on the weekend! They did say they could drop off a used CT2035 for me to try out before I buy the CT2025 but trying a bigger HP tractor and buying a smaller one doesn't make a lot of sense.

Kioti CK2620 (replaced CK2610) $24,000
Kubota L2501 $24,411
Bobcat CT2025 $23500

Any of those tractors can be had for cheaper.
If we could sell a 1626 for $22,500, then there is room to negotiate on any of them.
Btw, l notice on the Bobcat site where it states lift capacity as a bit over 1600 lbs.
I then read further and discovered it was their 3 point they were referring to and not the loader.

Frame size is the same. Controls are probably very similar. They probably weigh about the same as well.
Its a matter of ergonomics more than anything else as you wouldn’t put the tractor to task enough ( for your described usage) to feel a marked difference with its pto output.

I'd probably take them up on the offer to test out the CT2035. The CT2035 is the same frame as the CT2025 so how it 'fits' your operation might be useful.

The engine in the CT2025/CK2610 is the same engine Kioti used in previous 30HP machines, just detuned to get under the 26HP emission threshold. Searching around you can find folks who have turned up the HP on that engine/models to get it more out of it. So in theory you could get the 2025/2610 and make it closer to the 2035 in hp if you wanted.

Arrow brings up a good point. Although the CT2025 and CK2610 are both Kioti built, they do not use the same loader. I think the FL7 loader (on the bobcat) lifts about 1370lbs to just under 8' (at the pivot pins). I have no idea about the others but like rScotty, lift capacity wouldn't be at the top of my list. I'm sure there are other variations between these machines that would make one a better fit than the others.
