Horse TV

Since we've been talking horses ... I thought I would mention Horse TV. It's on America One every weekday evening from 7PM to 9PM (eastern).
Their programming runs to videos on dressage, vet care (floating teeth, the other night), olympic riding events, roping, driving, training, etc. They just expanded from 3 nights a week to every night (Mon-Fri).
We get A-One on the C-band satellite system (W4) ... but I understand they're on some cable systems. Don't know about the small dish, though.
They also have a website where they have links vereywhere ... and have the monthly TV schedule listed. My wife has changed from HGTV in the evenings to HorseTV.

My wife is a jumper so she watches Outdoor Life Network (OLN) for the show jumping. I see they have a couple other horse shows on that channel too. This is on Direct TV.

On the same note there is RFD-TV which is on Dish Network. It has a whole host of rural type programming with a heavy emphasis on horses. They also have a great classic tractor program. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Does anyone know what channels this would be on direct tv? I looked all over last night for this show and didn't find anything.

sorry Richard ... I'm still back in the dark (and much cheaper) ages with C-Band ... so I can't tell you right now. But ... I will see if I can find out and let you know.

Sorry Richard ... I just searched the channel line-ups for DirecTV and DISH ... and didn't find America One ... looks like they're only C-Band at the moment. Although I did find, on the AmericaOne website, a listing of local channels ... you might want to check it out yourself to see:
