Horsepower question on a 1045

Does anyone know what the HP rating is on a MF1045? When I bought it (used) at a JD dealer (it was a trade in), they told me that it was a 10 series, with 45 net engine HP, and 37 at the pto. Now, I am finding information that says that it is really a 32 net HP machine. I have not been able to find a solid answer. I am getting ready to buy another tractor, and I am trying to figure out what HP to buy. This 1045 is my frame of reference. If it is a 45 HP, then I need to buy one 50 or so. If it is 32, then 40-45 would be plenty. Anyone know?

Good Afternoon Burkehill,
My MF 1040 has the same engine, 121 cu in Toyosha. The engine hp is 32 hp and 28 at the pto. For some reason they list the 1045 pto hp as 30 . In any event, if your looking to upgrade, I would think that a 40-45 hp machine would fit the bill ! If I had the money I would consider lookin at the MF 1540.
