But still the potential is there to do damage, no reason for that with such a nice new machine. I think there is a hard line kit for the loader so you would have QDs right where the loaders qd's are and a set out by the plow.
Or just a set down by the loader QDs and longer hoses off the plow zipped tied to the loader arm.

That would eliminate the potential for damaging your hoses, especially during the height of a storm while you're making money.
You've never backed up, looking backwards with your hand on the loader stick raising it, thinking about 3 other things, till you realise you have raised it higher than you intended? I know I have.

JB.

True enough trying to get this all sorted out as when you get the blade from Horst they send you no lines nothing to work with. I like the idea of a kit to run a hard line to the front. I think they should have put the spare remotes somewhere on the front and not just the back it would have made things a little easier.
Thanks again JB - things breaking during a storm are never fun that's for sure!

Hey Dave don't you think it's worth it to put the dedicated 3rd SCV steel line kit from JD to run FEL attachments?

I am not sure how a third scv would operate on the front but it sure would be nice. I have a switch inside the cab to open up the rear scv or close it or run it at the same time with the loader. Is this something that could be set up with a third control valve? interesting I like the idea.
The dealer told me I had to set it up this way to use the thumb switch - but at the very least need some quick disconnects coming off of the blade.

The JD 3rd function loader kit with steel lines on the loader arms doesn't require another switch. I just runs a set of regular hoses from your 3rd function ports in the back to the loader right along the rest of the loader hoses. It even disconnects by the right loader base with the rest of the loader hoses so you can take the loader off as you normally would without the hoses being a bother. the lines change to steel at the same place the other loader hoses do except that it terminates with couplers of your choice by the intersection of the right loader arm and round cross tube to the left loader arm.

Hope that makes sense. If you need I can probably take some pictures if you ask nicely.

My tractor is not a cab model but you should have a set of 1/2" couplers for the third SCV just like in the bottom of the first picture. I think on the cab model they are in the middle. All the rest should look the same.

Are you sure you don't already have the 3rd function installed? You are describing my exact set-up but without the hardlines.

The part # is BW15630 for the hardline kit for your tractor. It runs about $350.

This is what the hardline kit looks like installed. If you look down the right loader arm you can see the quick connects at the end of the hardlines. There is also a detach point where the mid-mounts are located.

Now I am really not sure a little confused here I have the two 1/2 valves on the back and yes in the middle. Do you mean there is a hardline that might be on the loader already that I just have to buy the quick connector for or does it have to be plugged into the rear valves and rerouted to the FEL?
Now I have to really long lines plugged into the rear and I had to route them under the fender and tie them to existing factory harness/lines to run them to the front.

Look at the bugs on your windshield your loving that cab in this picture :D

It is a kit made up and sold by JD. A combination of rubber and steel lines starting at your rear hyd. couplings that are controlled by the switch on the joystick. These lines run forward to the bracket that holds the four quick couplers for the loader lines. The kit comes with a new six hole bracket to replace the existing four hole bracket that is on there now. The kit also includes the steel lines that run up the right side of the loader arm right on top of the other four lines. Finally ending right by the loader cross bar with two couplings on the end of the new steel lines for running front mounted toys! I like it because half the lines stay with the loader and disconnect like the other four at the mid mount bracket.

Glen is right on the mark with his explanation on what's included with the JD kit.

Here's a photo of the 3rd function. It's the one with the lines attached, I'm guessing this is what you have. The lines (kit) that runs from the 3rd to the loader arm is what were talking about. If it was installed you'd have the quick connects there already.

I went out and took some photos of the bracket and hardlines, I hope this helps :)

No more bugs for me, if you let them they will destroy your spirit. Around here they will actually carry you off :D

Ok I got you now so really it does the same thing I am doing with my super long lines running from the rear now but much neater and permanent. I will look into it in the future. Now have to play a little catch up on my JD account with the wheel weights and the imatch those guys nailed me good..lol
