I had the Rear Remote with QD couplers installed two years ago along with a hydraulic top link. It hasn't been off since as I use the tractor mostly with a box blade and have had no need to remove. Now I want to take it off and the hose fittings will not separate from the coupler.

The stock FEL QDs have rings that slide to lock the fitting. The fittings on the top link don't have a sliding ring. They are just sort of bullet-shaped. I tried twisting but I see nothing that will release the fitting from the coupler.

Does anyone know how to get these separated?

Much appreciated,

If they do not have a sliding collar then the hoses simply pull straight out. Engine off, float the valve, grab the hose and pull.

Does it look like this one?

In one quick motion, push in and then pull out. They should come apart. They should just pull out also, but normally a bit easier when you push it in and then pull it out. But like I said, all in one none stop motion.

Good luck.;)

Old thread, but can something like that be changed out for those skid steer type flat face connectors? (ISO 16028)
