Hot climate hood vent-Ford F550

my hood is white also. It had a spot on the paint that burnt one time early on when the little exhaust crossover tube on top of the engine cracked.

If you need more air flow take another page from the marine world and put in a 12v bilge blower like this. They really move the CFM's. You can even get fancy and put in a relay so it's only powered when the vehicle is on and a thermostat to control it for a predetermined under hood temperature.

These are Run Cool Hood Louvers mounted on a Ram 3500.
More time consuming to install and more expensive , same effect.
And in a hard rain more susceptible to water infiltration.

Do they look better? Not sure, I'm just trying to improve a/c and cooling.
