hour meters

I have a ck25 gear purchased last year with a digital hour meter using hard to read black numbering and doesn't register 10ths.When did Kioti change their hour meters and did they do it on all models?

I bought the same tractor this march and it's just like yours. I haven't had trouble reading the hour meter, but when my battery went down in June, the hour meter jumped ahead 17 hours. My battery just went down again and I am thinking it's the alternator I am having a problem with.
