Beltz (I'm always shortening names, no harm meant), I know Ridge Road from when it was all gravel/dirt/mud from the '50s. I was raised fishing Clarks Hill. In your location, resale won't be a problem, for all y'all who don't know where old Beltz will be located! An absolutely beautiful and very desirable place indeed. I'm about 7-8 miles from you, off Dozier Road, heading into Appling.
Anyway, I'm partly disabled Vietnam vet, suffering from a heap of pains caused by service there, mainly fibromyalgia, which is very hard to understand. So, I'm with you on all 36" doors, etc. But, won't 42" halls work okay? 48" is mighty wide, but I admit, would be nice. Keep us posted on how the building goes. I have a good friend who is a builder in our area, he's doing the additions to my house right now. Very good and easy to work with. You probably have a builder though. If you want another option, let me know, I'll give you his info. Nothing in it for me, he's just good, and uses good subcontractors.
