How about a FAQ for CK 25/30 HST

Being a new owner and pretty green to the whole tractor thing, I would be willing to put together a little tips/Faq page for useful hints for your new tractor.

Anybody think this would be good idea?? I could include implements, "fluid" recommendations, and just general care.

Not looking to take anything away from this site, but could put it all together and send to those contributing...

What do you think??

P.S. - It also would help me learn items I probably should know....

Really open to what you guys think. It could easily include the CK20 and other tractor tips. This is in no way, shape, or form intended to make me money, just educate me. As a favor, I would tabulate the info and put together a list of questions...

Good/Bad Idea??

For example, I read the manual and it recommended certain oil and HST fluid, but I didn't know which one I should get or recommended

What is a nice tooth bar to add to the FEL??

What tires are used for what use??

Just stuff like that.....

I'm sure that idea would be good for anyone who owns a CK 25, 30, and let's not forget the 20. Many have them. I learned a good deal by just scouring the machine I have. CK30HST. I found grease fittings that the dealer didn't even know of. Fluids are a tough one depending where you live. I couldn't find the hydralic fluid suggested in the book. Ask the members here what they use and they were very helpful. Also, my dealer told me to use a good quality diesel engine oil. He suggested Rotella 15w-40. Apparently that's a common brand and weight with semi-tractors. Members here are eager to help you with a question or problem if you post it. I'm already learning a lot of info from all the posts but a FAQ would be good too.
