A co-worker of mine just bought one last month w/FEL and MMM. He was a previous simplicity owner (same tractor 16 yrs) so I think it swayed his decision somewhat. I can tell you he did a ton of homework on all brands of CUTS and made many trips to many different dealers. He and I had alot of discussion about all of the brands and weighed the + & - of all. I personally felt it was too light for the power and the frame was lacking. He felt the mowing was superior to all, which it is and he is extremely impressed with the ease of loader removal and reload. He really loves his machine and after about 30+ hours on it no major problems or short comings (in his mind) to report. I will be picking up a BX2200 w 60" MMM in about a week and will be putting a new FEL on it right away so he and I will really be able to compare notes in the future. Hope this helped.

How do you feel about the dealers? This would be a major deciding factor in my book. Based upon my local dealers, I'd probably go Simp or MF (like both dealers alot), JD and NH in that order. I wouldn't even consider the Kubota; both dealers in my area are arrogant, egotistical, my-product-is-head-and-shoulders-above-anything-the-other-manufacturers-(notice-I-didn't-call-them-competitors-because-they're-not-even-close-to-anything-resembling-competition)-could-begin-to-think-about-putting-out-and-you're an ignorant-fool-if-you-don't-realize-it jackasses.

I've looked at a JD 2210 and the Simplicity Legacy both with Loaders. I can get the JD for about $11,200 (2 quotes) with discounts and the Legacy for $11,700 with discounts. Does Simplicity have something that makes it a better deal than the 2210? The JD seems to be built heavier and has a more powerful loader. I've owned several Simplicity's including a 23 HP Landlord. But this is a jump to category I've not dealt with before. Any Advice? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
