It really isn't that bad. Your in the middle of nowhere and nothing to hit. We could take 30' headers through 20'? gates. There is a trick to it. When I worked on custom harvest crew there was one rule. NEVER back up. Well one of the boss's stepson ignored that rule and ran the straw chopper fins through the side of the service truck. Boss has a temper and you didn't want to be the one receiving it.
At 8.30 into this video, Emma shows a combine at a gate with the fence wires to high. But she didn't film how the combines header wheels got through them.

Seeing how the header cleared the posts they should have only need to fold up the header support wheels

I was amazed at the move Haydon showed. Going back for a second trip. A lot more teardown than when I went - 1980. We had the combines on trailers and the headers were only 24' so they went on trailer and slid into the trucks. The boss was serious about keeping the combines cutting. When we pulled into a new place after a truck move the combines were cutting within 5 minutes of arrival. The buggy was next to get ready and then the trucks. It seems like they have lost some of that speed now but with combine size growing and road width restrictions they probably need to reduce time other ways.

Here my family members are moving dad's cows home back in 2016. We had great help! Steve Peterson, Ty Lloyd, Levi and dad. This is in central SD.

Pictures of our former square back 45. I ended up selling it twice. Someone bought the header then over 10 years later after no return for the rest sold the combine itself to someone in Ohio. Last I knew it was running.
