Which store is it that you are buying your det cord? Inquiring minds would love to know

I like my Stihl weed eater with a round saw blade, bicycle handle and double harness for making short work of those f*** sticks. No solid disturbance and easy on the back just walking along and swinging the blade back and forth, cutting everything off down to the dirt. I keep a couple of extra blades that all get sharpened with a file that evening or during lunch. Of course using that setup would be better for cutting the the little stuff in the first place, though pulling the brush out and cutting goes a lot faster with a helper.

Didn't NEED that much. We used C4 to cut down trees most of the day. Had a whole 1k foot spool of det cord left and had to get rid of it, so we rigged one final shot.

P = Plenty

That must have made a pretty sharp report!

L3560 with a every things attachment stump bucket. 11 inch bodark stumps cut off about 3 feet tall. Works a lot better just leaving the trees up if you can. Need to work on several sides if at all possible. Takes about 10 minutes if your careful. Try to keep the front tires on the ground if you can and do not pry to much with the front in the air. Cedar trees easy work.

Also works fine for transplanting shrubs and small trees. Especially if you presoak the ground around them if its really hard ground.

Have used it on larger skidsteers and it makes short work of most stumps

Excavator is better no doubt but thats just another expense unless you already have it. The stump bucket is a handy item to have a viable when needed.

Lot's of good advice here, the mini ex would be my preference. I bought one mainly for that particular task.

One note- I don't recommend leaving the stumps. Eventually they will rot, but there will be a nice low spot that will require adding dirt if you want to keep a nice lawn/pasture.

For many stumps that small, rent as big of a stump grinder as you can, and have at it. You will demolish those stumps in a short period of time, probably FASTER than you will with a mini ex, and certainly will be a lot cleaner and less disturbing to the ground as well.

I use a large PTO stump grinder and in less than a minute would have many of those small stumps disintegrated.

Remember that a mini ex will be able to pull the stumps very easy of course, but then what, now your left with a giant pile of stumps that you have to go dispose of somewhere else on the property. OR, you could dig even MORE holes and bury them. Why not just get rid of them one time, and make less of a mess? Rent a large stump grinder, you’ll be glad you did.

These stumps still an issue. I stumble across a stump bucket. Anyone think this would be a good way to get rid of these?

Titan Stump Bucket Tree Spade Scoop Digger Skid Steer Bobcat Attachment Pull

Well, if you had gone out with a drill and a stump rotter (epsom salts, potassium nitrate, etc.) and drilled the stumps and poured your mixture in them when you started this thread you would have been 6 months closer to elimination.

Now that this thread is trending to explosives maybe you could get the National Guard to carpet bomb.
