How can I mow 11acres

Sounds like you need a 7' or 8' mowing deck. I mow about 5 acres (+/-) with a B7100 and a 60" mower deck. Manuvering around all of my wife's flower gardens and other mowing obstructions, I can run just over an acre an hour. It's about 3 acres rolling/flat and maybe 2 acres on hills. If I were running 11 acres of lawn, I'd look for a BIG RIG.

If I had that much lawn, I think I would go out and shoot myself! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Maybe you should consider converting most of it to woods or something... A lot cheaper than a tractor.

If the slope is not too bad, get something with a nice wide deck, 72" or more if you can find it. If the slope is greater than 10 degrees or so, then you may consider a BX or other low-slung machine.

The easiest way is to get a bunch of goats and let them take care of it. Otherwise a 5'-6' Woods belly mower will do a good job on a old Allis B of JD M, besides mowing the lawn those old tractors are fun to drive.
