How Can I Tell a 3-way From a 4-Way FEL Control

I read on a TBN post that a 3-way valve can't run a hydraulic motor, and that, it won't work with my FEL if I swap the hoses (up & down reverse).

Well, I NEED to know if my FEL control on my 3010 is 3 way or 4 way. I swapped the hoses and the FEL works perfect (besides being backwards).

Any other suggestions? This is gnawing on me ...

Assuming you have the LA482 loader, is the part number on the valve serial number tag an L2205 or L2207? The 05 is the 3-way and the 07 is the 4-way. The L2205 was standard equipment.
