4spd tranny in an 8N can have a similar pinion clutch setup that the NAA did. difference is it is a mechanical lever throw style. not a hydraulic one. I have seen at least 2 types of pinion clutches for the 8n.. .. I have also seen a well done, but impracticle axle clutch for an 8n that did the same thing a pinion clutch does, and thus allows for psuedo live pto. that said.. i don't see why that pinion clutch would not fit in a 9n, 2n, or the smaller Tx20 fergy as well. they all use a similar torque coupling tube that the pinion clutch replaces.
also not mentioned.. the much misunderstood and not very well liked ( for some good reasons too! ) SOS 10spd powershift tranny.. that will be ind pto.. etc.
