How clean is your garage?

jusy saw a show on TV, "How clean is your house?"
had some pretty shocking houses on there, junk, clutter and even some animal...well you get the idea.....
so i ask the question, how clean is your garage?
........

my garages are pretty clean , not to much clutter, but at this time of year floor is loaded with sand and salt from the roads. hard to work out there as it is too cold, leave that for the summer when the temps warm up to 70 deg. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have a two car attached garage, and as of a month ago, we can get two cars in it. I think that's pretty impressive. I think we were able to do that for about a month a few years ago too. Of course I had to build an extra garage in the back yard to accomodate some of the stuff -- oh and a 8X8 shed.

My primary garage is a 24X36 detached building with a single 16 foot OH door. We use it for the wife's summer driver car which is stored right now, plus our regular car. Being retired, I have plenty of time to keep it orderly, although it currently has about a thousand dollars worth of lumber stored in there.

My small barn is the same size but has an upper floor, I store my GMC and JD in there along with two ATV's and my utility trailer. To get all those inside it obviously HAS to be clean.
By clean I mean organized and free of junk...NOBODY who drives in Michigan winters is gonna have a clean garage floor this time of the year. Especially if you have a sod driveway like me.

My garage isn't too bad. I can get my three cars in along with my tractor and wheeler. Tight but duable.

I have a 3 car garage and cannot fit a car in it. I do have a snowblower, motorcycle, two welders, drill press, air compressor, 2 350 Chevy motors, Edelbrock manifold, Chevy heads, camshafts, flywheels, fishing equipment, ammo safe, 12 ton press, 6 bicycles, cartopper, coolers, 4 chainsaws, gas trimmers, edger, gas blower, shovels, rakes, brooms, tool boxes, fertilizers, lawn equipment and furniture, junk, junk, junk, junk and more junk, BMW parts, motorcycle parts, more BMW parts, about 20 wheels and tires of all different sizes for our vehicles and more junk, workbench with a vise, torches, more junk, stereo, building supplies, paints, automotive paints, automotive supplies, oil, grease, gear lube, filters, fluids of all sorts and scrap metal. Wow, I have a hazardous waste site. Man, I really need to clean out my garage. I think I may have missed quite a few other items also. Yup sure did. 3 floor jacks, (4) 5 ton jack stands, creeper, uhmmm, forget it, I'm brain dead for now.

Its pretty amazing we spend so much on our homes and their size to house JUNK. I like my toys but I refused to build a garage so i can keep fence material, lumber, and whatever else I can come home with. I have a a lumber yard and a hardware store that stores most of that stuff for free. Any left overs from get thrown in the back of the field.

I read something one time that only in America do we fill our garages with useless junk so our $40,000 new vehicle can sit outside, exposed to the elements.
