How does this look, at least for starters? I made it tighter than it was but not as tight as my first photos. I didn't try the typewriter paper yet but understand the concept.

How does this clearance look? Tight enough? A little too loose?

Looks like the clearance of the ones on my baler. They work fine. How did you make the adjustment?

It's on the end of a shaft that holds seed cups. One end (with the gear) is supported by a bearing held in a bracket so I just loosened the bracket and pushed it up a little. That's how the adjustment is made and it's one of those three handed efforts. I'll use it for a while and see what it looks like then.
