Mine certainly falls into the obvious category though there is some history/sentimentality behind it.
My dad and I are both Robert (he has passed on). He was Bob so I became Rob. Other than Rob Petrie of Dick VanDyke fame, there weren't many Rob's in my generation. I liked that, it was somewhat unique. Then I started a real job after college and low and behold who do I work with but another Rob. This was somewhat unusual for both of us and to make matters worse both of our last names started with S. To this day, we both call each other "Rob S" when we see each other in the hall /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
