How did you come up with that screen name?

when I first started needing a password .. who remembers what for - I started with mike (my name) but the 'e" is on the far side of the keyboard so pure ol laziness had me add the "im" if you'll notice mikim... are one handed and quick & easy to type..... 'course now days the passwords I have to use have to meet minimum requirements .... minimum 8 spaces..... combo of caps, lower case, special characters, numbers.... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

On my planet, the Jazz are the most popular brand of tractor. And being the chief designer of their most popular model (the KR 400), it was only natural that I would use this name.

I’ve lived all my life in Santa Clara County, which is now better known as Silicon Valley. When I was a kid (in the 40s and 50s) this valley was some of the best farmland in the world. It was mostly country, beautiful country. Since that time the defense industry came in, then the computer industry, IC industry, Internet etc. and the valley is now almost entirely large buildings, asphalt and concrete. The farmland/country is gone, replaced with the high tech industries. So I suppose you could say this is now High Tech Country.

I grew up as a kid in the country and worked all my adult life in the computer industry. And about me I would say my profession is high tech but my heart is country. And even though I grew up here and have lived here all my life, for me it’s true the saying that you can never go back home again.
