How do I determine which gas engine i have on mf135

Hey I just brought home my first tractor, a mf135 gas engine. I know there a couple different gas engines for this and im trying to determine how to tell which I have. The tractor SN is 9A 85558 and there is a number on the block 37111500/2. Hope that's enough.

According to tractordata.com your machine is a 1969 . Now is it a 3 cylinder or 4????? 3 would be Perkins and 4 would be continental.

Arent there 2 different continental engines as well? 134 amd 145?

Most likely you have the smaller 134 continental..

Ok so what I've gathered. The 37111500/2 is the casting number of the block for both perkins gas and diesel engines. Diesel is the AD3.152 and the gas, what I have AG3.152. Both are equally rated HP wise. Hope this helps someone else down the road.

Be glad you have the gas Perkins instead of the Continental gas engine, the Perkins is a whole lot stronger engine as far as how it is built.

Well thats great to know! I was already glad that it had a higher HP output than the continental.

Its also built out of a Diesel block. Mucho stronger.More better.
