On a previous thread, you guys advised me to 'float' the 3ph by moving the rockshaft control lever full forwards. I haven't tested that because I now have my BH on and I'm reluctant to take it off because it was so difficult to attach. but I think that you're right.
On another thread on backfilling there was talk of floating the FEL so I decided to check my manual. The JD operators manual for the 200x/cx advises the operator to float the loader in three places, but it doesn't say how to do this.
So how do I float the FEL?
To answer my own question using the operator's manual for the 2320 I quote "Move the lever to the full forward or 'float' position to remove pressure in both connector lines ..."
Fine, except that when I tried that it lifted both front wheels off the ground. I don't think that's 'float' as I understand it. What am I doing wrong?
