How do I get rid of the flop in a cx200 fel???

My JD cx 200 fel flops on the curl function. It use to be only a little (maybe an inch or so) but now its getting worse(2-4inch of play). The dealer thought it was air caught in the lines and he told me it would work itself out. Well it hasn't and its getting a little worse. Its more of an annoyance then a problem but how can I fix it? Is it air or foaming?

The tractor has 200 hrs on it and the fluid has never been change I don't think.

Can I just brake the lines and bleed them or is there more to it?

The loader (almost) never comes off.

Also is there an adjustment I can make on the loader? The loader on my 2320 works smoothly but the one my 2305 is touchy when I try and do fine work. It's almost like the flow rate is to high.

Are you using the regen mode all the time?

Try holding the lever full down until the relief goes off.

Try using the power mode for slower dump. Should have constant pressure.

Try something easy first...disconnect your loader lines (The 4 quick disconnects) and reseat them...see if the helps. You may have one pulling a little air, so make sure they're clean. Use a screwdriver or pin to push the check balls on the female fittings (a little hydraulic fluid may spurt...use a rag over the fitting) and just press the male fittings against a block of hardwood or even a cement floor (if you're careful). Use a rag over the male fitting when you do this and expect a spurt of fluid.

Not likely. Only 200 hours on the machine.

What is the regen? If that is the float function then I barely use it, mostly in the winter snow(oppose to he summer snow I guess:confused3.

Hopefully it's not one of the nuts on the end of the piston rods in the bucket curl cyls coming loose.....is the 2-4 inches of play measured at the bucket or at the cyl rods

Regen is where the rod end fluid is mixed with the pump fluid to fill the base end of the cyl faster. The bucket will dump faster but with less power.

Some valves have regen in the first part of lever movement and other valves have regen in the far right position.

If you put a hyd gage in the system, you can see the pressures generated.

There's no pressure gage on the 2320. I don't think it has Regen, but I'm only guessing.

Tractors don't usually come with hyd pressure gages.

You add them for maintenance and trouble shooting.
