How do I get rid of the flop in a cx200 fel???

To expand on what J_J suggested. Try this, on level ground raise the loader up about half way. Have the RPM no lower then 2000. Push the joystick all the way to the right. When the joystick stops, with a slight extra effort, see if it can be pushed more to the right, putting it into fast dump. Hold the joystick in this position and let the bucket completely dump, with nothing in the bucket.

Raise the bucket up all the way and repeat another time.

Most likely what has happened is that the bucket has been dumped with material in it and the tractor at low RPM and instead of the hydraulic fluid push the bucket down. The material in the bucket push the bucket down, which in turn allowed air to get into the line. The above procedure should get the air out of the line.

The following was taken out of the manaul on your tractor - When the implement hydraulic hoses are connected to couplers 1 (yellow) and 2 (silver), move the dual SCV lever (B) left to divert fluid to the yellow connector line and return through the silver connector line. Move the lever right to divert fluid to the silver connector line and return through the yellow connector line. Move the lever to the full right or “regen position” to divert fluid to the silver connector line for faster loader bucket dumping.

The manual on your tractor indicates you have regen/fast dump, but it can be disabled. You might want to check that.

I attached a document that explains regen.

So what are the advantages and disadvantages of the regen. Obviuosly I have the option but its must be locked out as I don't see/feel it in the dumping action. Will it make the flop worse or better?

Why don't you just call the dealer and have them fix it? It's warranty work.

Actually I never really mow with that tractor. Loader and tiller.

Regen just lets you dump fast, saving some time.

You don't have as much power in regen.

If you wanted to raise the front end of the tractor, you probably could not do it using regen, whereas, the non-regen mode will provide full power, and you should be able to raise the front end by tilting the bucket down.

I've gotten a little slop in my 200cx a couple of times and I haven't even hit 50 hours yet... I simply run the loader to full curl, full dump, full curl, full dump, and it seems to work itself out. I don't run the hydraulics slowly or in low RPM either when doing this to clear the air from the system.

When your tractor off does bucket have lots of flop?
