Dig a sloped trench to the hole and roll it out.
This is what I did digging out a similar rock with a old Ford loader/hoe. Once the ramp was dug, I rolled the rock onto a '58 Chrysler hood (heavy metal) and slid the rock on its sled. It still took 2 tractors in tandem to drag the sled. If I had that rock today, I would get my friend with his Deere 460D to easily get it moved.Dig a path down so you can drive down to the rock, then drag the rock up the hill.

I've lifted a couple of good sized stones out of the ground this way. Long levers snd chain slings to gain an inch with each tilt. It took a few days of steady work before one of the stones was up on level ground and "dragable", using small diameter logs for skids.I've done this when working by hand and shovel only.
Roll it as far to one side as you can. Fill in under it.
Roll it to the other side as far as you can. Fill under it.
Repeat until it is out of the hole.

Since you have an excavator this seems to me a workable solution. You may have to winch it with a double or triple line pull using the excavator as an anchor.Dig a path down so you can drive down to the rock, then drag the rock up the hill.
