I'm trying to replace the cylinder head and trying to remove the old injector spray nozzles from the old head. Any suggestions? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

RisingStar,

There is a current thread running under "Parts and Repairs" that addresses the exact same problem concerning stuck slide in or friction style injectors. All of the suggestions are very good and will apply to your problem.

Good luck and welcome to TBN, Mark

Need more info. What's holding them in, are they loose or tight? Is the head off the tractor?

Don't do like a guy I talked to last week did. He took the retaining nuts off and had a buddy turn the tractor over while he was going "tap on them a little". He had to order new chambers because after he got back from getting stitches on his forehead he couldnt find them.

I had some stuck, that my machine shop had ruined trying to push them out with a press. I took the head home and started putting PB Blaster on them daily and tapping them with a brass hammer. I mean tapping. After a few days they popped out with a tap.
